Eligibility Inquiries
If you have questions about your eligibility for VA Health Care benefits, call the Medical Center at (915) 564-6100, Press 4; or visit the VA Health Care Eligibility Center web site.
Emergency Hospitalization
In case of an emergency please seek immediate medical care at the nearest facility, however, this is not a guarantee of payment. for those services.
Veterans who visit the William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) Emergency Room or are admitted to WBAMC, are automatically covered through the VA/DOD sharing agreement.
Veterans who receive emergency room care in the community or are hospitalized in a community hospital must notify the VA within 72 hours.
Please notify us by calling (915) 564-7842. This is also the contact number after hours and weekends and holidays.
If you leave a message, please leave detailed information to include the Veteran's name, date of birth, date of admission and the hospital that provided the care.
We will contact that hospital for further information on the following workday.
